About MicroStencil
MicroStencil is a technology based manufacturing company focused on the production of precision electroformed components. MicroStencil was founded in Scotland, UK after developing a novel fabrication process for the manufacture of microengineered stencils. Since developing this technology the Company has been the recipient of both the prestigious SMART and SPUR awards for its innovative technology.
MicroStencil has a wide variety of customers involved in a number of different markets segments including:

                        - Electronics

                        - MEMS

                        - Optical

                        - Life-science

Through our diverse experience in precision electroforming components and stencil printing processes we can meet our customer requirements by offering full technical support on all applications including design assistance, rapid prototyping, and volume production products.
In August 2007 MicroStencil established in South-East Asia a manufacturing partnership with DEK International. DEK is the world’s leading provider of equipment and processes for the high accuracy mass imaging of electronic materials. The mixture of MicroStencil’s high-end manufacturing process and DEK’s global infrastructure and total support for materials deposition processes has brought the combined strength of both Companies together to better suit our customers’ requirements for quick delivery of cost effective, precision electroformed parts. The MicroStencil product is sold in the DEK stencil range as DEK Platinum.

In addition the Platinum stencil technology is now offered by DEK in the patented VectorGuard® stencil system. Vector Guard is a frameless mounting system for stencils which delivers enhanced storage convenience, improved stencil dimensional tolerances and breakthrough ease-of-use.
